Walk signal installed at Swansea intersection where pedestrian struck, killed

When it takes a tragedy to force change, it can be bittersweet for all involved.
A new pedestrian walk signal has been installed at the intersection of Route 6 and Gardners Neck Road. It is the site where resident Gerald Fontaine Jr. was struck by a vehicle while out walking. He later died of his injuries on Dec. 5.
