TOP DOG: Durfee hires McCoy as new football coach

Durfee High School has tabbed Robb McCoy as its new head football coach, the school announced.
McCoy has a wealth of high school head coaching experience, having served in posts at both Bishop Feehan (his alma mater) and Norton high schools. He was successful at both schools.
"We are very excited to have Mr. McCoy as our new head football coach," said Durfee Athletics Director Todd Whittemore. "His leadership and coaching philosophy will bring an enthusiasm and energy that will drive the Durfee football program and its student-athletes in a positive direction."
McCoy, 31, succeeds two-year coach Dave Morgado, who was told late last year he would not be re-hired. The Hilltoppers went 1-19 over the last two seasons.
