The following events will take place this weekend in celebration of the Jourth of July:
The City of Fall River will partner with the Friends of Heritage State Park and Battleship Cove to provide a family oriented weekend of activities to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday. A traveling amusement park will be featured on the city’s waterfront Sunday, July 4, from 2 to 10 p.m. There will also be a concert featuring a Roomful of Blues at Heritage State Park, which will be free to the public on Sunday, July 4, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. followed by a fireworks display celebration at 9:30 p.m., which is also free to the public. Mayor Will Flanagan host a celebration at the Iwo Jima War Memorial at Bicentennial Park in honor of our veterans who proudly served our country.
