Resource officers returning to Fall River schools

After a one-week absence, three school resource officers will return to their assignments at the city’s middle and high schools on Monday.
Mayor Will Flanagan announced late Thursday that an agreement has been reached between the police department, Flanagan’s administration and the school department to return the three officers to the schools. The three officers will be the same three who were previously assigned to the schools, with Officer Michael Fogarty stationed at B.M.C. Durfee High School, Officer Maria Kennedy splitting time between the Morton and Talbot middle schools and Officer Mary Beth Buglio assigned to the Kuss and Lord middle schools.
