Police release sketch of attempted abduction suspect

Detectives got a sketch to help them as they searched for the man accused of trying to force a 66-year-old woman into his car Sunday afternoon at Kennedy Park.
Detectives on Monday released a police sketch of a young, dark-haired man wanted for questioning for the attempted abduction.
The woman told police that she was walking east on Bradford Avenue around 1 p.m. Sunday when a stranger approached her and tried to force her into his car.
But forewarned was forearmed: The woman told police a passerby had just warned her of a man in a car who was acting suspiciously. So the 66-year-old woman had a fist-sized rock in her hand when she was approached by the man.
The woman told police she hit the man several times with the rock and kicked him, too, before he abandoned his effort, jumped into his car and escaped. He was last seen speeding north [...]
