Chance was not kind to Chance the dog, but his last chance was his best. Found emaciated and covered with sores at a Westport “farm” off American Legion Highway this month, Chance had been left tied up, insufficiently watered and fed, never petted or walked. At Forever Paws, Chance got his chance and now, fed up to fighting weight, doctored and petted, he’s on a poster urging people to adopt an animal or donate to the shelter.
