King Philip House collecting canned goods for county vets
King Philip Community House, Inc., a United Way Agency, is once again sponsoring a canned good drive to stock the food pantry for Veterans’ Association of Bristol County, Inc.
Canned and dry foods are provided to needy veterans and their families on a monthly basis. Suggested donations include canned meat, spam, tuna, soups, Spaghettios, spaghetti sauce, beans, chile, corned beef hash, beef stew, macaroni and cheese, pasta, cereal, and pancake mix.
Donations can be dropped off at the Community House, 334 Tuttle St., on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
