Forget cookies with Santa; have tea with Mrs. Claus instead
While Santa Claus hustles and bustles in preparation for the big night, Mrs. Claus is doing much more than sugaring Santa’s cookies and shining his shoes.
Mrs. Claus, accompanied by one of Santa’s elves, will travel all the way from the North Pole to be the guest of honor at the Historical Society’s children’s tea party at the Easton Tea Room, 458 High St., on Sunday, Dec. 20.
The event has garnered so much attention that an additional seating has been added at 4 p.m. The noon and 2 p.m. seatings are full.
“Santa agreed that I could come,” said Mrs. Claus (Maryann Goulart, a 23-year member of Little Theater). “It’ll be very fun.”
Mrs. Claus, who knows Santa better than anyone, will show the children a scrapbook of her life with Santa. She’ll offer sing-a-long Christmas songs, games and gifts.
