Ferry kicks off campaign for 7th Bristol Rep seat
CJ Ferry wants potential voters to look at the candidates and not the letter representing their political party affiliation.
Ferry is the lone Republican seeking to gain the 7th Bristol Representative seat where two Democratic candidates, incumbent Kevin Aguiar and Alan Silvia, are seeking that party’s nomination.
“One thing that I have been stressing is that it’s not about party, it's never been about party,” Ferry said after recently kicking off his campaign at Giovanni’s Pizza on South Main Street. “You stress party and people get turned off. It’s about people and what the people need.”
And as Ferry looks at the current state of the city and the commonwealth, he thinks he has a pretty good idea about what the people of Massachusetts need: Jobs.
