Fall River School Department conducting parent survey
Whether parents have a gripe with the city’s schools or want to praise them, they will have an opportunity to do so anonymously.
The school department is asking parents and guardians to take part in a parent engagement and satisfaction survey in an effort for the department to learn more about the needs of the school system.
Surveys are available online through the school department’s Web site. Paper copies are also being sent home with students and can be picked up at Fall River schools. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and includes mostly multiple choice questions. There are also a few open-ended questions to allow participants an opportunity to express their feelings about the school system. The deadline to complete the survey is Tuesday, Dec. 15.
Results will reported in aggregate form and school officials will not track individual responses to ensure anonymity and confidentiality.
