Fall River Park Advocates to meet Feb. 24

A local group concerned with Fall River’s parks and open spaces will hold an organizational meeting next week.
Fall River Park Advocates will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 24, in the cafeteria of Government Center at 5:30 p.m.
All individuals interested in Fall River’s parks and open spaces are invited to attend. 
Fall River Park Advocates is a member of the Urban Park Advocates Network (www.urbanparkadvocates.org) founded by the Trustees of Reservations and convened by Julianne Kelly, coordinator of Mass in Motion-Fall River. 
Fall River Park Advocates seeks to unite individuals who care about Fall River’s parks and open spaces, including playgrounds, walking paths, bike trails and community gardens, to preserve, protect and plan for the future of these and other open spaces.
