Fall River man convicted of rape pleads guilty to witness intimidation
A former Fall River city employee who is behind bars following a conviction on charges of raping a mentally disabled man will now face a longer probation term after pleading guilty to intimidating the victim’s aunt.
William Senay Jr., of Fall River, pleaded guilty to a single count of witness intimidation. He had been sentenced in March to six to 10 years in state prison. The sentence was to be followed by 10 years of probation upon his release. A superior court jury found Senay guilty on charges of rape and indecent assault and battery of a mentally disabled person.
Senay must stay away from the victim and the victim’s family, cannot work or volunteer to work with disabled individuals, must register as a sex offender and must attend counseling for sex crime perpetrators.
