Diman student diagnosed with swine flu

A Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School student has been diagnosed with the H1N1 flu virus.
Superintendent-Director Marta Montleon e-mailed a brief informational message Thursday to students’ homes.
“Diman has been notified that one of our students has been diagnosed with a confirmed case of the H1N1 flu,” she said. “The student is under doctor’s care, doing well, and is expected to return to school on Monday.”
She said that “all health precautions are being taken to prevent any spreading of this flu.”
A Diman coach reported  the student is a freshman boy whose last day in school was Monday, Oct. 19. That person said the student was “doing fine.”
Montleon advised anyone with questions to contact the school nurse at 508-678-2891, Ext. 1771.
