Keith and Justin Santerre will remain together in jail while awaiting trial on home invasion charges.
Keith Santerre, 32, of Johnson Street, was told he would need to post $100,000 in cash to get out jail. His brother, Justin Santerre, 28, with no permanent address, was ordered held without bail and had his bail revoked on earlier charges.
Police began searching for the Santerre brothers on April 30 after police said they forced their way into a Hope Street home at 2 a.m. to threaten two men, pistol-whip them and stab one of them in the leg before robbing them of cash and cell phones.
Keith Santerre was arrested May 9 at a motel in Somerset. Police said they seized $421 in cash and 14 packets of heroin from the motel room when he was arrested.
