Berkley-Somerset regionalization goals outlined

The committee formed to study the possibility of creating a regional high school will recommend that the plan go forward.
“We will recommend that the two towns form a regional high school,” Julie Ramos-Gagliardi, chairwoman of the Berkley/Somerset Regionalization Committee said.
The Somerset Board of Selectmen, Advisory and Finance Committee and the School Committee will meet with the regionalization committee tonight at 5:30 p.m. at the Somerset Town Hall. The meeting will be the second of eight meetings to be held in Somerset and Berkley through March 29. The first was held Monday night in Berkley where the regionalization committee presented its recommendation to the Berkley Board of Selectmen. All meetings after tonight will be informational meetings and not joint meetings of town boards.
