The Advanced Technology and Manufacturing Center will hold its entrepreneurship speaker series. The series is intended to provide current and future entrepreneurs with information that will help them succeed. Scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month from noon to 1:30 p.m., the series explores subjects of concern for startup companies.
The Spring 2010 series includes “Market and Business Research: 10 Tips for finding good information” by Jane John and Risa Sacks on Wednesday, Feb. 10.
John started On Point Research in 2001 and has since provided informational reports to more than 75 firms in New England as well as several national Fortune 500 companies. Before starting On Point Research, she worked for a major research and development firm in a corporate information center.
Sacks has helped companies with telephone research for more than 15 years. She specializes in locating and interviewing people knowledgeable about specific business or technical topics.
