Amber Alert issued in alleged abduction in Swansea
State and Swansea police are investigating the alleged abduction of a 1-year-old girl shortly before 1 p.m. Thursday at gas station on Route 6 in Swansea.
An Amber Alert has been issued.
The car inolved in the alleged abduction is a silver Ford Focus, possibly bearing Minnesota license plate 677AVP, according to Dave Procopio, a spokesman for the state police.
The girl, Jaylin R. Boudria, has brown eyes and brown hair. She may be wearing a pink coat with a white hooded sweatshirt and jeans, according to police.
According to police, Jaylin may be with Kimberly Johnson, 38. She is a white female with brown hair and brown eyes, approximately 5-foot-6 and 140 pounds, according to police.
Police do not believe this is a random abduction.
Anyone who sees this vehicle or these people is urged to call 911 or the Massachusetts State Police at 508-820-2121.
